Join us for an exciting webinar where we unveil the power of the ChemiDoc Go, a compact benchtop imager that revolutionizes the western blotting experience.

In this webinar, our presenters will guide you through the latest innovations found in the ChemiDoc Go. This efficient powerhouse integrates stain-free technology for precise protein detection that normalizes bands to total protein, eliminating the hassle of traditional staining methods, and enabling accurate data. Using real-world examples of its versatile imaging, attendees will learn about its multiplexed chemiluminescence options, and how to upgrade the system to fluorescent western blotting for enhanced detection capabilities. Get insider knowledge on ImageLab software, as it automatically identifies protein bands with the best signal-to-noise ratio.

Key topics include:

  • Sensitive Chemiluminescence capability with broad dynamic range
  • How to add multiplexed fluorescence capability with Bio‑Rad StarBright 520 and 700 dyes
  • Application-specific Smart Trays that automatically adjust settings
  • Convenient chemiluminescent and fluorescent detection options with gel documentation

Gain valuable insights into how the advanced ChemiDoc Go system can revolutionize your protein detection and documentation workflows.

Speakers

Sahel Mohebbi, PhD

Sahel Mohebbi, PhD,
Proteomics Field Application Scientist

Sahel Mohebbi earned her Ph.D. in Bioinorganic chemistry from the University of Georgia, where she focused on the spectroscopic characterization of metalloenzymes and biological iron-sulfur centers. She unraveled a unique function for a novel iron-sulfur storage protein and developed a new pathway for [Fe-S] cluster assembly on recipient proteins. Upon graduation, she joined an immunology and cancer biology research group at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on the effect of diet and micro-nutrition on immune response, gut microbiota, and liver cancer development. She represents Bio‑Rad as the Proteomics Field Application Scientist specializing in Western Blotting, Bio‑Plex Immunoassays, and Chromatography.
