Examining the unanswered questions of COVID-19

In this webinar, Richard Cuthbert, PhD, reviews some of the recent advances in the COVID-19 field. He discusses questions that continue to be important in our understanding of the disease and virus, such as the continuing efficacy of existing vaccinations against new variants of concern. He also highlights research undertaken using the ZE5 Cell Analyzer, and the features that make the ZE5 Cell Analyzer well suited to infectious disease research.

Topics covered:

  • Understanding gender disparity in disease severity
  • The likely impact of new variants of concern
  • Will current vaccinations continue to prevent severe disease?
  • An immunodiagnostic assay to monitor infection and vaccination status
